A grand trine occurs when three planets are such that each pair of planets forms a trine aspect. This is considered auspicious. In Astrology it means that two celestial bodies or planets which are 120 degrees apart are joining.
To make it simpler an "aspect" is the position of planets with respect to one
another, which influence human minds and hence affairs.
Life is like a river we flow forward and can never retrace our steps, but what we can do is keep making improvisations as we keep moving forward. Whenever a trine is formed between planets and whichever area or house it reflects in that part of our life will run smoothly during that transit.
Whenever the trine occurs it represents luck on the path of life. The houses that host your trine are worth a close look; these are areas where you've got a natural talent to make your work easier. It's so natural; you might not even be aware it exists. But it represents gifts that are innate and carry you forward like a river effortlessly.
The trines normally occur between the planets which usually carry the same element —fire, air, water, or earth. Now If you have three planets, one in each of the zodiac signs of a particular element, that's a grand trine.

It is an asset, which you are born with it which can be taken for granted, so you under utilize your potential. So when planets form the grand trine the awareness can help you fully utilize you’re potential.
Transiting planets also form aspects, including the trine. You can embody it as "preparation awaiting opportunity," when you know a supportive trine is coming to draw out the potential of your natal planet. This is a practical way to look ahead and make the most of cosmic forces.

In order to utilize this energy creatively One does not need to build a new structure or to make marked adjustments in one's life. The planets involved in the trine reveal dimensions of life and specific energies, which are naturally integrated and which flow together harmoniously.
The aspect of grand trine often shows a mirror of our true selves of what we can or are capable of doing; one often takes for granted abilities and talents shown by the trine and, thus, some of us do not feel challenged to make an effort required to use the energy constructively.
