DM Journal - 15th January 2026 - THE INCLINE WITHIN - A PULLEY MEDITATION

Some evenings the Cosmos speaks to me through diagrams. Tonight, it was a block on an incline-- tethered by a rope, connected to a hanging mass. A simple system, yet it mirrored something within me.

The incline referred to my senses as effort. Not resistance exactly - But the uphill path we often face when trying to move forward . the Block resting on it? that is the part of us that wants to stay put. It's not lazy- it's cautious. it knows the slope , the angle ,the cost of motion.

Then there is the hanging mass - suspended, yearning to fall. it's the part of us that's ready. ready to release, to descend, to pull the rest of us into motion. The rope between them is tension- literal and emotional. its, teh connection between desire and inertia. The heart & mind.

The pulley parched at the top , is grace, blessings from the universe. it doesn't interfere. it simply redirects our force, allowing movement to happen with less friction. It's the quiet felicitator of change allowing us to utilize our free will.

In physics we analyse this System as Newton's Laws. we calculate the net force, the acceleration, the tension. But in Soul's terms? we feel it. the weight of longing. The Slope of resistance. The delicate balance between holding on letting go.

Sometimes, the incline is steep - Life asks more of us. Sometimes the Hanging mass is heavier-our desire to change outweighs our fear. And when the forces align just right, we move. Not because we are pushed, but because we're pulled by something deeper.

Astrology, like quantum physics, teaches us that everything is interconnected. the unseen forces shape our motion. That tension, mass and angle are metaphors for our cosmic blueprint. Tonight, I honor the pulley within me. the part that redirects my inner forces. the rope that holds my contradictions together. the incline that challenges me. And the weight that reminds me: movement is possible at any age provided you listen to your heart which is the seat of your soul.

Stay Blessed
