Mercury will be directly in front of the sun on January 18, 2023. This is called a Mercury transit. A transit occurs when Mercury passes between Earth and the sun, appearing as a small black dot moving across the sun’s face. 

The last time this happened was on May 9, 2016. The next one won’t happen until November 11, 2032. So if you want to see it, you better mark your calendars now! Transits of Mercury are relatively rare because the orbit of Mercury is inclined by 7 degrees with respect to Earth’s orbit around the sun. As a result, most of the time Mercury passes above or below the sun as seen from our planet.

Saturn makes a major move into your 5th house on March 8. This will impact your children and the children figures in your life. There will be a need to discipline them properly - to set boundaries and proper limits. This is not about cruelty but is really for their benefit. You can harm them more (in the long term) by being too lax and not teaching them discipline.

Health remains reasonable this year. I won't say perfect - at times you'll have three long-term planets in stressful alignment with you (from May 17 to June 12), but other long-term planets (Saturn and Neptune) are making harmonious aspects to you. Also, the stress on health will be felt more by those born early in the sign of Scorpio - from October 23-25.

The two planets involved in your love and social life are changing signs this year.

Pluto will move briefly into Aquarius from March 24 to June 12. He basically hovers between your 7th and 8th houses this year (and this will be the case next year too). More importantly, your actual love planet, Saturn, changes signs on March 8. He moves into your 9th house on that date and will stay there for the next two and a half years.

Health is good this year. Only two long-term planets are in stressful aspects with you though for a very short period. When Jupiter leaves Aries on May 17, health and energy will improve even further. 

Good though your health is, there will be periods where it is less easy than usual perhaps even stressful. However, this is not a trend for the year. These periods are caused by the short-term stresses of the short-term planets. When they pass, your normally good health and energy return.
